Ella I think this is my favorite post yet. And so needed for me. I have a colonoscopy on Monday. I work in healthcare and I’m constantly living in fear that something’s wrong with my body and something I’m doing is making me unhealthy. And looking on socials it’s like you said, so much fear and anxiety associated with health and what we are doing right or wrong. Thank you for this! Praying for good results Monday and then I’m going to try and live with less fear.
Amazing. Choosing to consume healthy articles and content like this is in fact, reading with intention. Health should feel safe. Whatever process of health you are choosing to perform, if it is making you healthy and you feel good doing it, stick with it.
I completely agree with this! There are so many times when I've been overwhelmed by confusing (and often contradictory) health information online. I've found that what truly works is listening to my body and doing things that are good for it, while still allowing flexibility for enjoyment.
I literally just deleted all social media because of all the health and wellness noise. it is EXHAUSTING. This post was a breath of fresh air. You hit the nail on the head and I’m so thankful for these positive reminders of what true health feels like. Thank you!
I resonate with this more than you know, and thank you so much for writing it. The health anxiety online is crippling. You are the only food and lifestyle account that makes me feel cheery, comfortable, and optimistic❤️🩹
LOVE this post. So so true. Resonated with my own food anxiety period I went through and the realisation that actually the stress of it all is causing more damage. Love to read. ❤️
I needed this today. It’s so easy for me to get lost in my ~workout and meal planning routine~ that I lose sight of my goal…which is to be nourished and happy. This was a great reminder for me💖
New subscriber here. So excited to join you in this little corner of the internet.
You couldn’t have said it better. Going on socials have been nothing but daunting and honestly have to prep myself to help me not spiral into a deep rabbit hole 🫠
I was someone who was diagnosed with cancer at a young age so seeing posts like that is SO triggering. Thank you for creating this space, I’m so excited to connect more with you all.
Wonderful! I could not agree more. It’s all gone a bit bonkers. I’d like to say I was person B but I’m not quite there yet! Not enough balance in my life but I do eat well and am lucky enough to eat local, seasonal, organic foods and I’m very grateful for that and certainly will not give up alcohol for health reasons!
