My skin is no where near perfect, but it is in a much better place than it was a year ago.

I know exactly how it feels to be overwhelmed. To feel like your body is betraying you. To not understand why this is happening even though you are trying EVERYTHING.
I have fallen down the deep dark hole of consumerism when it comes to skin. Buying products and spending money to no avail. When your skin rebels on you — desperation comes in.
Through trial and error, I began trusting in my bodies ability to heal. Understanding and accepting that my body actually was doing the opposite of rebelling against me, it was helping me. Trying to communicate with me. Responding to an imbalance in my system. Once I realized that, it was only up from there. I tuned in and listen. I got curious instead of frustrated.
Now I will say that that pic of me from a week ago was my skin looking its best. I still get breakouts, my skin still gets angry from time to time, but now I know how to manage it. To be patient with it and trust the process. To be curious and allow it to give me insight into my life and body.
So with that being said these are the things that ACTUALLY worked for me to improve my skin health. These tips are not based in strictly topical products. I do not believe that products will fix the problem on skin as it is usually internal. They may optimize, but they do not fix the actual issue.
What works on my skin may not work for yours. This is my personal journey. If you can learn something from it great!!! Take what works for you and leave what doesn’t.
& remember — it is so important to first evaluate the basics. I recommend checking out my list of questions HERE on where to start with that. How you eat, sleep, the environment and your mindset are all integral to creating a balanced internal system that shows in your skin.
Ok let’s get into it….
