I would consider myself a type-A ish person. I like things done a certain way and I am tidy and clean, but occasionally it is out of sight out of mind and when my pantry cabinet has a nice little door on it…..the inside can get a bit out of control.
So a pantry cleanse, organize, is NECESSARY. Sometimes it just takes a ‘lil revamp to get an organized system going. Which is exactly what I spent this weekend doing. Oh so therapeutic. As I was cleansing and cleaning and organizing I wrote down and made note of all of the pantry items I use the most that are essential for me! So now here I am giving you a peek inside my (now newly gorgeous) pantry….

Where I Shop
I’ve been a Thrive Market member since 2022, but I’ve never appreciated it more than I do now that I am living in New York. Between bouncing between multiple grocery stores to find everything I need, struggling to track down my favorite brands after moving, and schlepping home with bags in freezing winter or sticky summer heat, Thrive has genuinely saved me. When people ask where I grocery shop, I always say Thrive Market. It’s where I get most of my pantry staples, clean toiletries, and those random household things we always need.
They deliver straight to your door (a dream in this city), their prices save me money every month because they offer the lowest price guaranteed (I have saved $4,979 in groceries — an average of $72 per order), and they carry high-quality organic, traceable, sustainable and regenerative products, plus, they ban over 1,000 sketchy ingredients from everything they stock. It’s honestly one of the best memberships I’ve invested in. And my family agrees too (I had to get them on it’s too good!)
I will include a list of my staple products below (all the products that are from thrive market on my list I will link!) that I order time & time again.

Farmers Market
My favorite place to get seasonal produce, yes, but also some random household pantry items! Sometimes they have good things like honeycomb, honey, maple syrup, crackers, olives and pickled items, jams and more!
The farmers market is the best because you get to meet the people making these beautiful products and creations. See the love behind the hard work they do! It is a wonderful feeling strolling a farmers market, and whenever I get to support a local business and interact with the community, it feels that much more special!
Farm to People
This is kind of like my version of a “CSA” in NY. It is a grocery delivery service that sources primarily from local farms in NYC, Brooklyn & NJ. So if I missed the farmers market — this is where I go next! GLOWWITHELLA25 works as a discount on your first order!
Markets + Grocery Store
There are some things that I just have to go to the grocery store for like my favorite olives and pepperocinis, etc, but this is usually my last resort!

Pantry Organizers
HONESTLY my favorite ever pantry organizers are old jars! These are also my favorite beverage glasses too. Old tomato jars, coconut oil, bone broth, honey you name it I keep them all and they always come in handy!
BUT sometimes the sticky stickers on the jars can be a hassle so this is what I do:
Peel off as much of the sticker as you can
Fill jars with hot to boiling water (not so hot that it would crack)
Let sit for 10 minutes with hot water and peel off as much more of the sticker as you can
For any extra residue — create a paste with equal parts baking soda + neutral oil
Rub paste all over stubborn sticky parts, let sit for at least an hour, longer for more stubborn
Scrub off remaining residue with soap and hot water
Dishwash and enjoy!
A few more jars & organizers I love.
If you have free time this weekend, I highly encourage a good pantry organize, clean out and inventory!! I found so many doubles of products I forgot that I had, and now they are up front and center ready to be used and I am so excited!
Let me know if you have anyyy questions regarding the state of my pantry or absolutely anything else. Hopefully this was helpful & I will chat with you soooon for Meal Shortcuts this coming Sunday! Yay! XO - Ella
