Oh 2024 — another year in the BOOKS. There is so much to be grateful for this year, but I want to start out by saying how grateful I am for YOU.
Gut Feelings has grown so much this year, and it wouldn’t be possible without you all. The OG’s who have been here since I was first starting to figure out the platform (thank you for being patient), the new fam members who add so much life to the chat — thank you for sharing, liking, commenting, engaging and making my recipes!!!! We all have a whole new friend group because of you guys.
I never considered myself a writer in the past. From a young age I would blog often, I appreciated journaling, I would do copy-writing as a side hustle, but me…a writer? no. Very imposter syndrome. I am not fine tuned and perfect with my words. I can’t always eloquently and concisely translate my thoughts onto a page. But thanks to you, you’ve allowed me to believe in myself a bit more. Being able to express my thoughts in long-form on this platform and having this community who leads with curiosity versus judgement, sparking thought-provoking conversations with you all (who have such wonderful ways of thinking) — I just love you guys. Thank you for being here.
