I love a Summer Sunday. It feels like such a perfect day. A stroll at the farmers market, a nice picnic in the sun, or even just a lazy day on the couch. Something about a Sunday when the sun is shining just feels so therapeutic.
Lately I have dedicated parts of my Sunday afternoons to making or trying something I have not before. So far I’ve made a quiche, homemade ravioli, potholders, and who knows what is to come today. I definitely will be making a new sourdough starter because the 5 loaves I baked are already almost gone….
One of my favorite Sunday activities is going to the farmers market of course, and so I have written up a grocery list for you with meal ideas for the week if you need some inspiration.
Reminder: Listen to your body and its cravings. Sometimes I eat something that I don’t really feel like because I feel like I should be eating protein rich meals or nutrient rich something or another (that voice in my head that has been somewhat brainwashed by social media narratives). Then I don’t feel satisfied because I didn’t eat what I actually wanted. Our bodies know what we want more than we think, because our crazy overthinking thoughts often get in the way of intuition. Listen to your body, listen to that gorgeous gut of yours.
Along with the photo I have linked the grocery list so you can print it out and take it with you. & there is a special oh so delicious seasonal recipe for you as well :)
