4 recipes using May seasonal produce: Strawberry Rhubarb Ginger Lemonade, Radishes & Herb Butter, Spring Rainbow Veggie Pasta Primavera, Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp
Good morning beautifuls! Happy Sunday :) Today we are turning some of my favorite May seasonal produce into delicious recipes.
Seasonal eating has changed my life. It is funny how the simplest, back to basics, practices rooted in traditional wisdom, sometimes feel the most groundbreaking.
Slow living, listening to our bodies, and living in rhythm with nature and the seasons aren’t a trend — they’re ways of being, deeply rooted in indigenous knowledge and ancestral wisdom. This way of life prioritizes community, sustainability, deep respect for the Earth — and reconnecting and remembering this wisdom is incredibly grounding.
I try to incorporate seasonal elements in my meals, and since I don’t have a backyard or my own garden, I have found one of the easiest ways to eat more seasonally is to buy local from farmers. One of my favorite weekend activities is going to the farmers market, chatting with farmers, getting some seasonal produce and then cooking and baking with it — so I wanted to share some of my favorite recipes using May’s gorgeous peak seasonal produce.
