Hey hey hey beautiful people. Happy Sunday (or potentially early monday for my East Coast people since this is sending out late…..) THANK YOU for your patience. I am sipping on some dandelion tea and just getting organized for the week.
It’s a new month, I can feel Spring in the aiiiirrrr coming soon. We have a time change so we’ll have later sunsets…..YAY. I am really excited for March. I love the Springtime. The food, the energy, the weather. I do love hibernation winters but it does feel good to start tapping into that Spring energy.
I have already noticed an increase in energy and motivation. Spring is the perfect time to set new goals, clear out the old to make room for the new (emotionally and physically), make big decisions, incorporate new habits, finish projects, and of course spend more time outside in nature.
Take time to notice that energy shift in the next couple weeks and tap into those strengths. + make sure you’re taking advantage of all the delishhhhh abundant seasonal produce.
Lots of yummy recipes coming this week so stay tunnnneedd <3
SMALL BUSINESS SUNDAY
We’re backkkk with one of my favorite segments! There are so many incredible small businesses out there who spend their time + money focusing on creating high quality products that prioritize transparency, sustainability, sourcing and traceability. We have the power to vote with our dollar, so with all of these pillars in mind I am highlighting some of yours (& mine) fav small businesses to support!
Previous SBS segments if ya missed it:
Specialty formulated herbal blends that ACTUALLY WORK. I am sure you have already heard of Organic Olivia, but if not, WELCOME! Organic Olivia creates incredible herbal formulations for a wide variety of different needs.
I have always loved herbal medicine. I think it is so fascinating and amazing and the tradition of it is very special. I am a big believer that western medicine and herbal/holistic/eastern medicine can work beautifully and harmoniously together, and Organic Olivia shares in that belief.
Ingredient traceability and sourcing is super transparent on their website (LOVE this). They partner with farmers who use biodynamic, organic and sustainable practices, and they also routinely test for microbes, metals and pollutants.
My FAVORITE products from them are their glucose bitters, digestive juice & spice it up love bitters. All of these are different formulas of herbs that support healthy digestion, nutrient absorption, and can aid against gas and bloat. Does wonders for my digestion. I like to take one or a mixture of a few before meals and it's one of my favorite rituals.

By Achilles
I connected with the gorgeous Michelle (founder of By Achilles above) through Instagram and I am so inspired by her and her story!
She’s built her holistic skincare brand from the ground up using all undiluted, organic and wildcrafted ingredients. Through the creation of her products, she supports small farms around the world. They visit each year the farms where they personally hand pick the ingredients from.
I am OBSESSED with her teas, specifically the tummy tea makes me feel so good!! & she is best known for her sunshine elixir.

One Degree Organics
One Degree is built on 100% ingredient transparency, and has a business model I believe should be adopted by all!!! On every single one of their products they have a QR code that allows you to trace every product AND meet the farmers & producers behind every single ingredient. It is truly incredible.
They partner with farms that use organic and sustainable methods that nourish the soil, and are completely free of glyphosate residue. I first found their oats at Costco, and I don’t buy any other oats now!
FEBRUARY FAVORITES
Glass To-Go Cups: I get asked about my glassware a lot, especially this to go cup. It is PERFECT for an on the go latte or bev and it’s also just cute (cute glassware makes the drink taste better ofc…)
Flamingo Estate Rosemary Candle: If you want your home to smell like freshly baked foccacia….this. I love the scent of this candle (+ the ingredients used to make it are clean!), also been lovvinggg their heirloom tomato soap. These also make the perfect gifts.
Dutch Oven: Dutch ovens can be priccyyyy like in the hundreds but my ol faithful is less than $80 and it’s perfect. A must have for if you’re getting into baking sourdough bread (which you should be it’s so worth it.)
Ugg Slipper DUPES: These are my apartment shoes and I literally wanna get another pair to also have for outdoors because I love them. They are so cozy, comfy, and keep my feet warm. Great quality and a smaller price tag than original uggs!
Bakuchiol: A natural retinol alternative I have been lovvingg. My skin is ultra sensitive, and does not react well to synthetic ingredients like retinol. But this natural extract has the same benefits: accelerates cell renewal, improves skin texture and tightness without the same side affects as retinol. It’s one of the main ingredients in Primally Pure’s plumping cream (alongside some other favs like grass fed tallow) and it makes my skin feel sooooo good (15ELLA works as a discount)
Lomi Composter: NO MORE FOOD WASTE! In love with this tabletop composter that makes it so so easy and efficient to turn your food scraps into nutrient rich soil. A necessity in everyone’s kitchen.
Magnesium Spray: I have been loving spraying this on my feet & body before bed to get nice and relaxed. It really helps to promote relaxation and calm my anxiety and also help me reach deep restorative sleep! PLUS I have heard that it also works as a natural deodorant which is cool!!! (ELLA15 works as a discount) I also love their Magnesium L-Threonate.
Red Light Mini: I have gone on and on about my loveeee for red light therapy. There are wonderful benefits on a skin level, a cellular level, and its truly been the biggest game changer in my sleep health! I have been using this red light mini morning & night and its the easiest addition into my routine. It’s small but it packs a lot of power! I loveee it. Boncharge is also where I get my red light bulbs & glasses and such. Loveee their stuff. (ELLA15 works as a discount)
Rose Hydrosol Spray: Firstly I love everything this company makes, they were one of my highlights on my small business sunday bc I am truly just obsessssed. This rose spray is SO refreshing, I spray it on my face in the morning or post shower and its so soothing and then I layer on anything else I use (moisturizer, etc.) Makes my skin feel great and gives it that extra boost and nourishment it needs in these winter months. I believe “glowwithella” works as a discount!
Hope you have the most restorative rest so you wake up Monday morning feeling refreshed, energized and excited. Thank you for being here. If you have any Qs or thoughts, come join the Gut Feelings group chat & I will chat with ya more this week. Xo -Ella
Hi Ella - love your content, follow you on IG and TikTok too :) I've been curious about the Lomi composters but I can never tell if some of the reviews are accurate because usually they are paid promotion! Do they really work? P.S. How do you make those little "in case you missed previous posts" sections - I would love to add those to my own posts! I will Google it too but if you have a quick tip I'm all ears!
