Happy happy Sunday! I am sippin’ on a matcha latte because it is my third day of no coffee…not because I do not love coffee, don’t get me wrong, I LOVE coffee. I love it so much that I have to take breaks, otherwise, I start drinking like three cups a day and my body is not happy with me.
I like taking breaks every once in a while because it helps my body reset, and also lowers my tolerance to it making it that much better when I do start to drink it again.
I sometimes overdo it with caffeine, and because my body is so sensitive to caffeine, it affects my mood, my skin, my sleep, my digestion, and it is just best for me to lower my intake every so often.
I woke up with a massive headache today, assumingely from the withdrawal, which just makes me so much more willing to do this break because it shows how much my body has been reliant on it.
There is a biggg misconception about if coffee is “good or bad for you” amongst the health community, and I talk more about that here…
Buttt if you wanna join me in a lil coffee-break, I am on day 3 of at least 7 days - and would love for ya to join me. Other than that, let’s get into today’s topics.

Grocery List + Meal Ideas
There are a million ways to grocery shop. Go to the grocery store hungry, and overbuy everything because you are hungry. Go to the grocery store full with no plan, and aimlessly wander around till you go home realizing you forgot everything you wanted, go in with a super strict plan and buy things and then throughout the week crave things that you didn’t end up buying. I have done all. There truly is no perfect way to grocery shop, but I’ve realized my favorite way is to have a balance of all.
Before grocery shopping, I like to have a few meals in my arsenal ready to be cooked for the week. I take time on Sunday to sort through meal ideas, whether they’re ones I have already made, things I have been inspired by. Once I have an idea of a few meals, I build a list with those meals in mind, and then I leave a little room for whatever else catches my eye at the store that I didn’t plan for.
This way I have ingredients with meals in mind, so those ingredients don’t go to waste. + I also have ingredients in case I don’t feel like making the meals I have in mind for the week at my disposal as well. It is a good balance of having a plan, but not being so structured that I am no longer following my intuition and cravings.
So I want to share my meal ideas + grocery list plan for myself with you for this week, in case you need some inspiration.
