Circadian Rhythm Reset

I have just started reading The Circadian Code, as I have really been more interested in Circadian Rhythm and its connection to gut (& full body) health.Β

You can find the book here, I reference a lot of Dr. Satchin Panda’s work in this post! If you want to reference the sources or go for a deeper dive, I recommend checking out his book, it is a WONDERFUL read. This post is meant to summarize what I have learned thus far, and implement actionable tips into your everyday life.

And wow. The intricacies of our body's internal clock are FASCINATING. Each system and organ in our body operates (turns on & off) at certain times throughout the day or night. When we act in contrast to these systems, our body becomes imbalanced. This may lead to symptoms like brain fog, fatigue, sickness, GI issues, anxiety, weight-gain and more.Β

This explains why when you are jet lagged or change time zones food is harder to digest, and your digestion is irregular.Β

Honoring and working in harmony with your circadian rhythm can help to repair and reverse these negative symptoms. So how do we do that? Let’s get into it…

PS: This post is β€œtoo long for email” so if it get’s cut off in your inbox, I recommend opening it up on a web browser or the app!

A DAY OF CIRCADIAN RHYTHM HEALTH

When you have a healthy body and you live in harmony with your circadian rhythm, you should wake up in the morning with energy and soon after waking have a healthy bowel movement. SO many of us wake up tired, groggy, anxious, brain-foggy, bloated and constipated, and this is no way to live!Β

I am going to take you through tips from AM to PM that you can implement into your day to start living in harmony with your circadian rhythm, and feel like your best self.Β
